WSL INSPECTION INFO

The image features a stylized representation of plumbing pipes with a magnifying glass, suggesting inspection or maintenance.

MVD is requesting Water Service Line Inspections due to the recently revised EPA regulations for Lead and Copper. One of the revisions requires an inventory of the material type for the customer-owned portion of water service lines. In order to obtain the required information, MVD is requesting that customers perform an inspection of the water service line at their location and provide the results to MVD. If customers are unable to perform an inspection, an appointment can be arranged for inspection by MVD.  Please note, inspections are mandatory as this information is required of all public water systems per the EPA.

There are two options for inspection: Self-Inspection or MVD Inspection. Details for each are listed below. Inspections should only take approximately 10 minutes, whether Self-Inspection or MVD Inspection.
