In compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) updated Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR), MVD implemented the MVD Water Service Line Program. The goal of this initiative is to identify, document, and eliminate any lead components in service lines and plumbing to ensure a "Lead Free MVD".
