NH Drinking Water Festival & Science Fair is a yearly event sponsored by the New Hampshire Drinking Water Coalition in conjunction with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services to encourage future leaders and scientists to learn about one of the world’s most precious resources: water!  The all-day event is held to celebrate National Drinking Water Week and is intended to educate students about the importance of our water resources, where drinking water comes from, and issues that impact water quality, and to show them how their actions affect the water around us.

Scientists, consultants, artists, and environmental educators from public water systems, non-profit organizations, higher education, and local, state, and federal agencies join together on this day to share their expertise with students. Through hands-on activities, interactive exhibits and live music performances, students explore information on water conservation, water testing, groundwater pollution and keeping water clean.
